Sorry for the delay in writing to you. the cakes were a hit!!! People thought it was a REAL cake (including my own mother) and of course she had to touch it to make sure. Everything went well with the decorations and even the kids couldn't stop staring at it. I left out the cards & flyers and they were all gone by the end of the night. I thank you for those little extra arrangements you sent. They were sooo cute!!!
I mean everyone loved the whole setup. One girl thought we had the event catered, with all the cakes around. I'll be contacting you again for the Christening. Thanks again to you and your staff on a job very well done!! I actually don't want to dismantle the whole thing. I can see the detailed work that was put into making that cake. How ever do you do it? I received the "cake" and I'm totally speechless! It's absolutely gorgeous, thank you so much!! The outer packaging is also so pretty that I hate to even open that! (Of course I will have to open it sooner or later - in order to use the cake as the centerpiece..) But I wanted to let you know it DID arrive safely and I am so happy with it that I can't thank you enough! I'd also like to thank you for the extras you placed inside...the lovely pillow (which matches the outside bow) and the bib that's attached to the back of the box the cake is in. I think I'm going to try my hand at using those two items in some sort of decorative way as well, so they, too can be displayed on the table (We'll see if I have success at that though - LOL...but if I don't have much success, I'll just give them to my daughter-in-law later).
